Ten weeks down - happy New Year!

Ten weeks down, thirty(ish) to go... I am feeling run down and a bit nauseated in the morning, but most days it's not too bad. HOWEVER... we rang in a quiet New Year's Eve at home with chocolate ice cream, which came back up all over the bathroom floor a few minutes before midnight. Happy 2014, Tank! Your dad was amazing - he got a cool washcloth for my forehead, held my hair back, and didn't bat an eye at my sickness. He's going to be great with you, too.
New Year's Day 2014 - my belly is looking a little bigger, but it's more bloat than baby at this point!

Even before we found out about the pregnancy, we had a lower-cost, closer-to-home vacation in mind for this year after last year's trips to the Smokies (twice), Savannah, and Las Vegas/Zion National Park (twice). We're trying to decide between a hiking vacation in the Red River Gorge area and a more varied trip around Mammoth Cave and other central Kentucky sites. Goal is April/May, end of second trimester or beginning of third, since I am not sure how tired/big I'll be after that point!
