We are now publicly pregnant...

Tank, you're no longer our family's little secret! Today we went to the Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists to get an NT scan (they look at the fluid at the back of baby's neck; thick fluid can be a marker for Down Syndrome and other chromosomal abnormalities) and get blood drawn for the Panorama genetic screening.

It's amazing how in a few short weeks you've gone from an adorable wiggly gummy bear to an adorable wiggly baby! Your fluid measurements, nasal bone (another indicator of possible problems), and overall size were great, and while we won't get the genetic results back for several weeks, your dad wanted to share our news with the whole world - via Facebook. We got so many positive comments and congratulations - the world is excited that you're joining us!

Your dad and I are terrible at keeping secrets, so we're relieved to be able to have our big news out in the open.

The printed image is kind of blurry, but in person we heard and saw your heartbeat again and saw you dancing around in there!
